The objective of this two part project was to take a political speech consisting of at least 2,500 words and design a broadside poster around it, paying close attention to hierarchy and type treatment to convey the concept. The second part of this project was to develop a book layout with a connection to the broadside. I used the same speech and design aesthetics as the broadside, but also introduced another piece of writing to further strengthen my concept. I challenged my design skills by connecting the two different concepts visually, and typographically.
